Multi-vehicle collision along the KJE causes congestion

12 vehicles were involved in an accident on Tuesday evening on the Kranji Expressway (KJE) near the Woodlands Road exit, reported The Straits Times.
Eyewitnesses said that a fast-moving lorry had hit several barriers and a tree. The tree then crashed into a car, and the lorry barrelled into several other vehicles.
According to the police, seven cars, three lorries, a taxi and a van were involved in the accident.
The multi-vehicle collision caused traffic on the KJE to back up to the Choa Chu Kang Way exit.
Two people, aged 63 and 34, were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The police are investigating.
