At the 2025 World Economic Forum, which was held in Davos, Switzerland, and ran from 20 January 2025 to 24 January 2025, Genesis showcased its new GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV) Concept EV.
This marks the third consecutive year that Genesis has showcased a concept model at Davos, following the Genesis X Concept in 2023 and the Genesis X Show Speedium Concept in 2024.
The GV60 MIV Concept is inspired by small unit support vehicles (SUSVs) and is based on the Genesis GV60. Designed for rescue support tasks in rugged terrain and challenging weather conditions, it prioritises occupant safety and mission functionality, with its silent operation reducing noise pollution and minimising environmental impact.
It comes with snow tracks and features like sports seats, medical supplies, emergency communication, warning systems, and large carbon fibre fender flares. To maximise storage, a custom heavy-duty roof rack has been installed, while the rear hatch rack features modular attachment points for various equipment.
Genesis Chief Creative Officer, Luc Donckerwolke, stated that "(the brand) prides itself on creating safe, well-designed luxury vehicles that are audacious, progressive, and distinctly Korean". Therefore, the GV60 MIV Concept "expands this vision of comfort and care".
