New Honda Odyssey now available for booking and test drives

Kah Motor Co. Sdn. Bhd. has unveiled the 2021 Honda Odyssey, the firm's flagship multi-purpose vehicle.

The new Honda Odyssey has maintained its elegant styling while sporting a more powerful front, thanks to a new grille flanked with thin headlights.

At the rear, a solid and three-dimensional rear combination light is also now adopted. The Honda Odyssey also now gets sequential turn signals at the front and rear as standard.

In the cabin, the new Odyssey comes with an improved design for its instrument panel. The combination meter panel see its high-definition full-colour LCD panel increased in size from from 3.5 inches to 7.0 inches. By combining with an analog speedometer, various information is displayed in an easy-to understand manner.

The 8.0-inch Touchscreen Display Audio infotainment system meanwhile supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The car's indoor storage is now easier to use, thanks to the addition of a retractable drink holder on the driver's side and the new instrument panel upper box with lid.

Available in the new Odyssey seven-seater is the hands-free access power tailgate that allows the tailgate to be opened and closed with a simple kick motion under the rear bumper. The tailgate can be programmed to open to a desired height position with the press of a button.

The detection conditions of the sensing sensor have been reviewed to support various kick motions, and the usability of the power tailgate has been further improved. The eight-seater Odyssey is equipped with a power tailgate, offering a simple yet useful feature.

The Odyssey is available in four colours. They are Premium Twinkle Black (pearl), Obsidian Blue (pearl), Super Platinum (metallic) and Platinum White (pearl).

Power for the Honda Odyssey is supplied by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, producing 173bhp and 225Nm of torque. Official fuel consumption is 12.3km/L.
