Peugeot has unveiled its new 308 and 308 SW models, which will be available from Q3 2025 onwards. Both will be offered with four powertrain options - electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and diesel - as well as three trim levels: Allure, GT, and GT Premium.
Designed in France and produced at the Mulhouse plant, the iconic Peugeot emblem on the models' fronts will, for the first time, be illuminated, with a proximity radar discreetly hidden behind it. Above the emblem, a set of luminous strands elegantly highlights the grille and extends the illumination of the Peugeot 308 towards the new headlights.
The powerful stance of the new Peugeot 308 has been accentuated, starting from the beginning of the wings to the end of the front face and extending from the headlights
To enhance the models' expressiveness, the head lights are arranged in two horizontal sections (with the dipped beam above and the full beam below) and have been positioned lower. Thanks to very compact modules, the lights are discreetly integrated into the bumper, becoming almost invisible when stationary.
The new Peugeot 308 and 308 SW also feature new diamond-cut alloy wheels, which are available as 17-inch items on the Allure trim and 18-inch ones on the GT and GT Premium trims. Furthermore, all electric versions of both models come with the 18-inch option across all trims as standard.
Inside, all new Peugeot 308s will also come with a standard digital instrument cluster featuring new 3D graphics (optional on the GT trim and standard on the GT Premium trim). Other interior features also include a 10-inch central touchscreen and a choice of eight-colour ambient lighting that extends from the dashboard to the door panels.
The Peugeot 308 SW's boot can be split in three parts (40:20:40) with folding controls accessible from the boot
Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are also standard across the range for the new all-electric E-308 and E-308 SW. And in the new Peugeot 308 SW, its second-row seats can be split in three parts (40:20:40) with folding controls accessible from the boot. This gives it a loading space volume of 598 to 1,487 litres.
To encourage the transition to electric mobility, the new E-308 comes with an electric motor putting out 115kW and 270Nm of torque, as well as a 58.4kWh battery that offers an extended WLTP range of up to 452km. In addition, DC fast charging allows the car's battery to go from 20-80% in 32 minutes.
