Peugeot has unveiled its Polygon Concept, a dynamic, compact concept car (less than four metres long). Interestingly enough, the brand has already previewed this car on Polygon City, an island in the Fortnite game.
The Polygon Concept is described as a "true dynamic proving ground", testing and showcasing numerous innovations that Peugeot will introduce from 2027 onwards, notably the revolutionary Hypersquare steering wheel and Steer-by-Wire technology.

With regards to Hypersquare, Peugeot describes it as a new, ergonomic approach to the Peugeot i-Cockpit and as a fully electronic control system for the vehicle. It’s paired with Steer-by-Wire electronic steering technology which replaces the mechanical link between the steering and front wheels with electronics. This technology, proven in the aerospace industry, will be available on a production Peugeot vehicle from 2027.
The combination of Hypersquare and Steer-by-Wire is described as delivering exceptional responsiveness and precision at high speed, unmatched comfort during manoeuvring and a unique feeling of hyper-agility.
And with the Peugeot Polygon Concept, the windscreen becomes the infotainment screen. With no more dashboard displays, all information is reflected onto the windscreen via a Micro-LED panel located behind Hypersquare.
This innovation also provides the driver with a uniquely, immersive experience through a display size equivalent to a 31-inch screen. The driver can also personalise the information projected onto the windscreen by connecting the interior and exterior of the car.
The Polygon Concept allows front passengers to personalise their dashboard layout according to their lifestyle and needs
With the Polygon Concept, Micro-LEDs also shape Peugeot's new front end. The brand's iconic three-claw light signature is reimagined in a horizontal layout. Created by multiple Micro-LED screens, while stationary, this new light signature brings the front and rear to life with various graphic and colour configurations, inspired by immersive visual and audio displays.
And to show just what is possible, Peugeot is showcasing three configuration examples that demonstrate just how much fun can be had with the Polygon Concept: Urban (designed to complement the city scape), Player (featuring a sporty silhouette), and Explorer (rugged and adventure-ready).
