The latest king of the 911s has been unveiled - and yes, it's now a hybrid. Porsche has pulled the covers of its new 911 Turbo S, set to be presented in public for the first time at the 2025 IAA Mobility event, which runs from 9 to 14 September 2025, in Munich.
The new 911 Turbo S comes with a newly developed, high-performance powertrain that utilises the innovative and lightweight T-Hybrid technology with a 400V system. This allows its 3.6-litre engine to deliver a system output of 523kW (701bhp) and 800Nm, making it the most powerful production 911 to date. It is also equipped with a 1.9kWh battery, which is the same one used in the 911 Carrera GTS.
This T-Hybrid powertrain also allows Porsche engineers to equip the 911 Turbo S with electro-hydraulically controlled Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) as standard, thus reducing the tendency to roll when changing direction and increases agility when entering and exiting corners.
The 911 Turbo S also features a new aerodynamic concept that optimises its cooling and efficiency. Active, vertically arranged cooling air flaps in the front of the vehicle and an active front diffuser, together with the variable lip of the front spoiler and the extendable and tilting rear wing, work together as an efficient overall system.
The new top-of-the-range model of the 911 series debuts with a more muscular design, more intelligent aerodynamics, and even more exclusive equipment
Porsche will also be introducing its new cross-series turbo design strategy in the new 911 Turbo S. Numerous contrasting elements are designed in the colour Turbonite, which is reserved exclusively for the Turbo variants. These include the Porsche crest and the "Turbo S" lettering at the rear. In addition, Turbo S-specific inserts in the slats of the rear wing and side window strips differentiate the new 911 model.
Inside, Turbonite accents can be found in the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard and centre console surrounds, decorative stitching, Sport Chrono stopwatch, and instrument cluster. The seat belts and several buttons in the centre console are also designed by the Porsche designers in this colour. For the first time, carbon-structured trim strips with neodyme trim and a perforated microfibre headliner with black backing are part of its exclusive interior.
As a coupe, the 911 Turbo S is delivered as a two-seater as standard. On request, the rear seat system can be configured at no extra charge. The cabriolet is generally delivered in a 2+2 configuration. Porsche equips the new 911 Turbo S with HD Matrix LED headlights as standard. The Sport Chrono Package including tyre temperature gauge, the specifically tuned PASM suspension, the PDCC electro-hydraulic roll support, and the titanium sports exhaust system are also standard equipment.
Further customisation options are available via the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur range. In addition to more than 100 colour choices on the exterior, these include Turbo Exclusive Design wheels with carbon blades painted in neodyme, a lightweight roof in visible carbon, Exclusive Design rear lights, and air intakes in the rear side section made of carbon. For the first time, lightweight wiper arms made of carbon can be ordered.
As is typical for Turbo, the new top-of-the-range model of the current 911 series has a visibly wider body and track compared to the Carrera models
The interior can be further enhanced with details such as decorative stitching in contrasting colours, personalised embossing, seat consoles and sill panels in leather with fine decorative stitching, as well as personalised painted vehicle keys.
The sports car, which is available as a coupe and cabriolet, is also available for order in Singapore. The price of the Turbo S Coupe starts from $1,262,788, while the price of the Turbo S Cabriolet starts from $1,353,988. Both prices do not include COE and both model variants are expected to arrive on our sunny shores in early 2026.
