Shot at the futuristic Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park near Dubai, U.A.E, Porsche Middle East and Africa's newest campaign will feature celebrated French DJ David Guetta, as well as the brand's two latest all-electric models, the Macan Turbo and the Taycan Turbo GT, which have just launched in the Middle East.
In addition to the main video, three behind-the-scenes episodes will provide more information about this futuristic location and its cutting-edge technology, as well as the collaboration with David Guetta and the production process. All films will be shown in the Porsche Newsroom and on the company’s social media channels.
The solar park - where the video was shot at - is one of the largest in the world. With over two million solar modules and an area of 127 square kilometres, it aims to power nearly two million homes in Dubai by 2030, saving over eight million tons of carbon emissions annually. Similarly, with the new Macan and Taycan, Porsche will be driving forward the electrification of its range.
The Macan SUV offers up to 470kW (630bhp) and 1,130Nm of torque, with a top speed of 260km/h and a century sprint timing of 3.3 seconds. The Taycan Turbo GT offers a limited-time peak output of more than 1,115bhp and - equipped with the Weissach package - recently set a record for the fourth time.
