Next generation Chevrolet Volt will feature regenerative braking on demand

Chevrolet seems to have big plans for the next generation Volt. The plug-in electric car will feature styling cues from the marque's halo sports car, the new Chevrolet Corvette, as well as new technologies such as regenerative braking on demand.
Drivers can adjust the level of energy regeneration from steering wheel-mounted buttons, which also allow the user to engage in 'one-pedal' driving. The new car is also rumoured to pack a larger battery for more power and a longer electric-only driving range.
Check out the video above, where GM Executives Mark Reuss and Andrew Farah try out the new feature on board the next generation Volt.
