The passenger version of the NV350 features 50:50 split fold-forward rear seats that allow the driver to make better use of the available space. Other highlights include the keyless push-button ignition, which Nissan says is a first in a commercial vehicle, and a dash-mounted shift lever and a foot-operated parking brake that allow the use of a large capacity storage box located between the two front seats.
The all-new Nissan NV350 van will be unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show at the end of November, and sales will commence in Japan from the middle of next year, with other Asian markets set to receive the NV350 shortly after.
Nissan says that the new van is bigger than the outgoing version, will be available in both passenger and light commercial versions, and features a class leading cargo area of up to 3 metres in length when the rear seats are removed.
