The Nissan Skyline nameplate could be making a return

Nissan has teased the return of the Skyline nameplate in a recently uploaded video on its YouTube page.

Described as a "driver-focussed sedan with performance, precision, and raw emotion at its core", this new model is set to launch in Japan in the near future. As of now, whether it could make its way into other markets is up for speculation, although Nissan has said that it will provide more updates in due time.

By lowering the playback speed and with a few tries, we were able to spot what appears to be Skyline badging at the rear, classic Skyline-shaped taillights, and a Skyline-specific badge at the front.

Here's hoping this isn't just a concept car, and according to some comments, hopefully not an EV too.
