Nissan reveals the 2022 Pathfinder and Frontier

Nissan celebrated the global debut of two of its most iconic models - the new 2022 Frontier pickup and 2022 Pathfinder SUV. These new entries in two growing vehicle segments are an important next step in Nissan NEXT, the company's global plan to transform its product lineup as well as its business and company culture.

The new 2022 Pathfinder offers a bold, rugged, completely redesigned exterior and a family adventure-ready interior. A 280bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine is mated with a new nine-speed transmission for smooth, direct response, and works together with an Intelligent 4WD system with a seven-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector, to provide confident driving on and off-road.

The new cabin includes seating for up to eight and a new captain's chairs option. Available technology features include a 10.8-inch head-up Display, 12.3-inch digital dashboard, ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link and standard Nissan Safety Shield 360.

The new 2022 Nissan Frontier meanwhile stays true to its past while addressing modern truck buyer needs. The rugged exterior design features a powerful front end with a massive grille and chiseled hood, framed by new precision interlocking head lights.

As the 'right-sized' pickup for a workweek in the city or weekend of off-road adventures, every Frontier - two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive - comes equipped with a 3.8-litre V6 engine with 306bhp. The engine is matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission designed to maximise efficiency and provide strong acceleration.

The Frontier's modern, utility-centric interior includes a 7.0-inch Advanced Driver Assist Display and a 9.0-inch colour touchscreen. Standard technology includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with WiFi and wireless charging available. Nissan Safety Shield 360 is available on every trim.
