Oil spill on PIE after Jurong Town Hall Road exit, two lanes closed

An accident on the East-bound Pan Island Expressway (PIE), after the Jurong Town Hall Road exit, has caused an oil spill that has closed off two lanes to traffic, reported The Straits Times.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has advised motorists to seek alternative routes.

It said on Twitter at 3:42pm that two lanes on the PIE, in the direction of Changi, have been closed because of the spill.

"LTA will reopen the affected lanes when recovery works are completed," the authority added.
