Performance figures for new McLaren 765LT have been confirmed as customer car production commences to meet the sold out 2020 order bank. The new limited edition car, unveiled in Singapore last September, is the latest addition to the Super Series range and the most extreme 'Longtail'.
The first customer-ordered examples of the new McLaren 765LT are now being hand-assembled at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, U.K. Just 765 individually numbered cars will be offered globally, and Singapore will have eight units of the 765LT delivered in early 2021.
The McLaren 765LT incorporates all of the renowned McLaren LT attributes, including driver engagement, minimised weight, track-focused dynamics, optimised aerodynamics and increased power.
A comprehensive weight reduction has resulted in the 765LT weighing 80kg less than the already class-leading 720S. The 765LT's bespoke aerodynamics features carbon fibre panels plus a 'Longtail' active rear wing.
With a kerb weight of 1,339kg and a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 755bhp and 800Nm of torque, the 765LT accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds and from zero to 200km/h in 7.0 seconds.
