Philips launches new OlfaPure 7100 smart in-car diffuser

Philips Automotive has launched the OlfaPure 7100 Smart in-car diffuser here in Singapore.

Unlike other in-car diffusers, each scent cartridge of the Philips OlfaPure 7100 comes with its own memory chip that houses a specific algorithm to optimise the release of fragrance in your car.

This technology ensures that you don't get an overwhelming release of the fragrance when it is first opened or turned on like in other aroma diffusers. The OlfaPure 7100 is additionally able to vary the cadence and duration of the scent release, so that occupants in the vehicle don't develop 'nose blindness' to the scent after prolonged exposure, ensuring that they will continue to enjoy the aroma and its mood enhancing benefits.

Speaking of which, the Philips OlfaPure 7100 comes with a total of 10 different French-designed fragrances, four of which can be loaded into the diffuser at any one time. These fragrances include 'Citrus Garden', a fresh invigorating fragrance that helps maintain alertness when behind the wheel. Also available is 'Lavender', which blends lavender and eucalyptus, perfect for those looking for a relaxing drive after a long day at work.

The Philips OlfaPure 7100 also comes with a dedicated app that will allow users to schedule the release of scents at specific times of the day. The app can also be used to check the remaining volume of scent in each cartridge.

The diffuser, meanwhile, comes in a compact cylindrical shape, designed to fit snugly into the cup holders of a car. It is powered by a USB-C cable can works automatically, turning on with the car's ignition, and automatically turns off after two hours of continuous use.
