Philips launches Ultinon WeatherVision head light bulb

Philips has launched the Ultinon WeatherVision LED headlamp bulb here in Singapore.

Designed to deliver the performance and brightness of an LED light alongside the warm glow of a halogen lamp, the Philips Ultinon WeatherVision generates light at an eye-friendly color temperature of 3500K. The headlamp bulb is additionally said to cut down on glare and deliver a more comfortable view of the road ahead for drivers.

The Philips Ultinon WeatherVision is said to match Economic Commission for Europe regulations on halogen brightness at a reduced level of energy consumption, and sports modest dimensions help it fit into tight spaces, ensuring a straightforward installation process. It also comes with an integrated IEC 60061-compatible base that removes the need for adapter rings and ensures that it will operate smoothly in most car models.

The Philips Ultinon WeatherVision range is claimed to offer up to three times the lifetime of comparable halogen bulbs and is said to produce a homogeneous light throughout its lifespan. The range is covered a two-year warranty.
