Philips has launched its new GoPure 7511 in-car air filter here in Singapore. The Philips GoPure 7511 employs a total of three layers of filtration in order to deliver you quality air while you're on the go.
The first utilises the firm's SelectFilter Ultra filter, designed to capture the ultra-fine particles floating in the air inside your car, as small as 0.004µm including microbes, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust and PM2.5 particles. The air then passes through a second layer where it gets exposed to UVC light, designed to destroy any microbes in the air. This UVC layer is produced in the Philips GoPure 7511 via LED units, and is claimed to be able to remove most microbes in as little as 49 seconds.
Finally, the air passes through Philip's HESAMax layer, designed to neutralise any harmful volatile organic compounds in the air. This layer also allows the Philips GoPure 7511 to catalyse the compounds that cause odors, breaking them apart so they no longer smell.
Philips states that the GoPure 7511 is able to remove airborne contaminants from the air in your car in as little as six minutes, thanks to these three filtration layers, alongside the use of a powerful in-built fan. Installation is as simple as plugging the device into the car's power supply, and the Philips GoPure 7511 additionally comes with a three-color indicator bar, so you can check on the quality of the air within your car with a quick glance at the LED display. More information of the Philips GoPure 7511 is available from Philips Singapore's website here.
