Philips launches the GoPure 7101 car air purifier

Philips has launched the GoPure 7101 car air purifier in Singapore, developed by Lumileds. With powerful and fast-acting air filtration technology, it removes harmful particles, toxic gaseous chemicals and allergens in just a few minutes.

With smart features, such as automatically speeding up filtration if pollution levels rise, the GoPure 7101 ensures car travel with only clean and healthy air.

The powerful Philips SelectFilter Plus filtration technology removes fine harmful pollution particles from the inside of a car, as well as cigarette smoke and dust.

With a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 22.9m³ per hour for PM2.5 particles, the air in a standard sedan or SUV can be purified in just eight minutes.

With a built-in high efficiency particulate air layer, the GoPure 7101 filter removes harmful gaseous chemicals from cars at a CADR rate of 14m³ per hour. So instead of a build-up of exhaust fumes, chemicals emitted by plastic materials and other odor emitting substances, the air in a car is clean in just a few minutes. 

The GoPure 7101 is equipped with a three-layer Philips-designed filter, which removes up to 90% of these pollen allergens. Independent tests by Airmid Healthgroup showed this level of filtration is achieved in just one single pass of air through the Philips SelectFilter Plus, known as the single pass efficiency test.

To help the driver focus on driving, the GoPure 7101 turns on and off automatically with the car's ignition. This smart device will also automatically adapt the filtration speed depending on the in-car air quality. So when the pollution level spikes, the air filtration process will speed up to more rapidly to clean the air. For quick reference while driving, there is a three-step LED air quality indicator on the device itself.
