Polestar 2 gets updated with new colours and sustainability improvements

Polestar has updated the Polestar 2.
The Polestar 2 Standard Range Single Motor has received a battery with improved cell chemistry that bumps its capacity up to 69kWh. Polestar states that this increased battery capacity means the car now boasts a 474km WLTP range. It also can now charge faster, at 130kW via a direct current source, while the motor's maximum output has been raised to 228bhp.
The Polestar 2 also has received a variety of sustainability updates. The aluminium tray the carries the battery casing for all version of the car is now made from smelters that use renewable energy, for example. While in the cabin, the ventilated Nappa leather upholstery is now available in Zinc, while a removable sunshade is being added for the panoramic glass roof.
Space and Jupiter are replacing the Void and Moon exterior colours, while new designs are being offered for the 19-inch and 21-inch wheels.
