Polestar 3 revealed in first official image; set to get up to 600km range

Polestar has released the first official image of the Polestar 3 as it confirms the full launch of the model will happen come October 2022.
The released image shows the Polestar 3 retaining many of the iconic design touches of the Polestar 2, with its head lights retaining the signature three-pointed pattern housed within a more dynamically-shaped housing. The firm's iconic use of gold accents will also carry onto the Polestar 3, here already deployed on the car’s brake calipers and seatbelts. The rectangular taillight design of the Polestar 2 also appears to have been carried onto the Polestar 3.
The electric SUV however, looks set to stray from the sleek design of the Polestar 2 with an aggressive aero package, comprising of several air vents on its bonnet, as well as substantial rear spoiler that greets the end of that gently sloping roof.
The firm states that it plans to launch a new car every year for the next three years, starting with the Polestar 3, and aims to increase its presence to at least 30 global markets by the end of 2023. It additionally plans to grow its global sales ten-fold from approximately 29,000 in 2021 to approximately 290,000 by the end of 2025.
