Polestar starts production of Polestar 3 in China

Polestar has kicked off production of the Polestar 3 in Chengdu, China, just four months after the firm started production of the Polestar 4 in China at a Hangzhou Bay factory.

Production of the Polestar 3 is additionally set to start in South Carolina, U.S.A, by mid-2024. When series production in the U.S.A starts, the Polestar 3 will be the first model from the firm to be produced on two continents, a move designed to support the brand's growth in North America, Europe, and Asia. The first early production test series in the American factory are said to already have been successfully completed.

Polestar also announced in November 2023 that it would be building the Polestar 3 in Busan, Korea, from the second half of 2025.
