Polestar to offer home charging solutions in Europe

Polestar customers in Europe are now able to get a charging box together with their Polestar.

The firm has announced a new commercial and technical partnership with home charger provider Zaptec, which will see Polestar offering the Zaptec Go wallbox to customers in select European markets. Already available in markets including Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway, the offer includes includes installation and local customer support. The wallbox can offer up to 22kW of charging capacity, and is compatible with all Polestar cars including the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.

Polestar states that its collaboration with Zaptec also includes a long-term strategic partnership on future vehicle-to-grid and bidirectional charging solutions. First European customer deliveries of the Zaptec Go wallbox are expected to begin mid-2024. Polestar will announce the roll out the offer of the wallbox for other markets in due course.
