Pope Francis gets a Skoda Enyaq for Slovakia visit

Pope Francis will be travelling in two Skoda Enyaq iVs and two Skoda Karoqs during his visit to Slovakia.

The Enyaq iVs have been specially adapted with clear glass windows at the rear to allow all a better view of the pope, while chrome standard holders for the Vatican flag have been mounted on the front wing of the passenger side.

On the inside, the Enyaq iVs also have an additional handle added in order to make exiting the vehicle more comfortable at the request of the Vatican. All vehicles are painted in black metallic and have black interiors.

Skoda Auto has also launched a dedicated website (which can be accessed here) for the Pope's visit to Slovakia. The site allows people from all over the world to send their greetings to the Pontiff as he travels through the country. Through augmented reality, all greetings received via the website will be displayed on a virtual 3D model of the SUV on the website or on a real Enyaq iV.
