Porsche aims to support 356 Make-A-Wish kids

Over a three-year period, Porsche will be donating a total of around $1.8 million euros to Make-A-Wish, aiming to support the fulfilment of 356 children's wishes - a figure inspired by the first Porsche model, the aptly-named 356.

In doing so, the marque has entered into a partnership with Make-A-Wish and have already seen over 300 wishes granted. Porsche says that a further 50 will follow by the end of 2025.

Porsche granted Faris, a five-year old Singaporean and Make-A-Wish beneficiary, his wish of a special birthday on Sentosa Island

Among the beneficiaries of this partnership is Faris, a young five-year old Singaporean boy who suffers from West syndrome, which is a severe form of epilepsy. Faris wished for a special birthday on Sentosa and Porsche duly delivered, setting him and his family to a hotel where a beautifully decorated room and a birthday cake awaited him.

"Social responsibility is firmly anchored in Porsche culture," adds Veronica Sapena-Mas, Director Funding Projects at Porsche AG. "Together with Make-A-Wish we want to give children and their families something positive to focus on in difficult times."
