Porsche Iberica gets special edition 911 Carrera GTS

Porsche subsidiary Porsche Iberica has unveiled a new Cuarenta Edition to mark its 40^th anniversary.

Based on the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe complete with a new T-Hybrid drive system, this special edition car is said to have been created to emulate a 911 that would have been ordered by a Spanish or Portuguese customer 40 years ago, while still being fashionable and desirable for the modern customer, and has been brought together by the experts from Porsche Iberica, Style Porsche, and the Sonderwunsch Team in Zuffenhausen.

The Porsche 911 Cuarenta Edition gets a special nueveonce/Cuarenta logo on its B-pillar and an anniversary logo that features the Quercus tree

Accordingly, this 911 Cuarenta Edition gets a bespoke Quercusverde exterior finish. Developed by Porsche's Paint to Sample Plus offer, the colour is described as being characteristic of the typical landscape of Spain and Portugal, with its fields of holm oaks, oak trees, and cork oaks.

The car also gets a Quercus tree in its anniversary logo, which appears on the rear lid grille, while a nueveonce/Cuarenta logo appears on its B-pillar in Cremewhite. The car also gets its Porsche and 911 logo at the rear in Silver, the side window trims in aluminium, and its fender flares and stone guard film in Black Satin and the rear lights and strip in Red.

The seats of the special edition car come with a Truffle Brown, Cohiba Brown, Crayon and Quercusverde colour scheme, alongside a matching driver's key and leather key pouch

RS Spyder Design rims in Black Satin with a rim painted in Brilliant Silver and wheel centre caps in Black Satin with the Porsche crest monochrome, meanwhile, pay homage to the colour combination of the wheels found on the 911s in the 1980's.

The Porsche 911 Cuarenta Edition also gets a two-tone Truffle Brown and Cohiba Brown leather combination interior, which are a nod to the artisanal work of the guarnicioneros - the craftsmen of the world of saddlery from the Iberian Peninsula.

Also present here is the use of a Tartan textile of Truffle Brown, Cohiba Brown, Crayon and a nuance of Quercusverde for the seat centre inlays, and Cuarenta Edition comes with a driver's key that is painted in Quercusverde and features a Cuarenta lettering in Silver complete with a two-tone Truffle Brown and Cohiba Brown leather key pouch to match the car's interior. This key pouch also shows an embossing of the Quercus tree logo.
