Porsche Macan expected to debut in November

It is set to be produced at an enlarged factory in Leipzig, Germany, and Porsche claims it will have significantly lesser volume sales in comparison to the Range Rover Evoque in a bid to avoid the Macan becoming a fashion statement.
Like the Q5, the Macan will feature all-wheel drive from launch and will contain a number of six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, with smaller four-cylinder units to appear later in its product life. Like its siblings across the range, a sportier S model and a hybrid version are also likely to enter production.
Being part of the larger Volkswagen family, the Macan will naturally share certain chassis parts with its Q5 cousin though the new engines, suspension tuning and interior architecture will be tailored under Porsche's good expertise. Styling is said to be sporty with the usual flair of Porsche design cues.
