Porsche model stars in new instalment of the "living dead"

Stemming from a partnership between Porsche and Capcom, the Cayenne Turbo GT has been introduced into the world of Resident Evil Requiem, which launched on 27 February 2026 and stars Leon S. Kennedy as the iconic main character.

In the game, the Cayenne Turbo GT will be Kennedy's vehicle of choice as he embarks on a dangerous investigation. Capcom says this is because the model's performance, design, and presence mirror the protagonist's determination and distinctive style.

Speaking on the collaboration, Porsche stated that partnering with a beloved gaming franchise like Resident Evil allows it to connect with global pop culture in a fresh and memorable way.

And to celebrate this partnership, Porsche has also developed a one-of-a-kind Cayenne Turbo GT show car, which featured specially designed add-on parts created together with Capcom and made its debut on 19 February 2026. It also featured in a short film produced by both brands, which was uploaded on the Resident Evil YouTube channel on 20 February 2026.
