Porsche presents latest electric theme for Curvistan Bangkok
22 Mar 2025|96 views
Since its launch in August 2024, Curvistan Bangkok has become a premier destination for the Porsche community and beyond. Now, the brand has presented the showcase: "Electrifying Past. Present. Future." that will highlight its approach to electromobility.
On display from 20 March 2025 to 18 August 2025, the exhibition will go all the way back to the 1900s, where Ferdinand Porsche created the "Lohner-Porsche System": The world's first wheel hub-mounted electric motor.
One of the highlights is the 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar, but arguably the centrepiece of this exhibition is the legendary 919 Hybrid race car, a three-time winner of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance classic in 2015, 2016, and 2017. More than just a racing triumph, the 919 Hybrid was able to transfer race-proven technology such as 800V technology into road-going cars like the new Taycan range, cementing its place into Porsche’s history.
Running in conjunction with the new theme at Curvistan Bangkok, the Porsche BEV Experience offers guests the possibility to test drive the brand's range of all-electric models, including the Taycan and all-electric Macan SUV.
Curvistan Bangkok opens daily from 08:00am to 10:00pm, and is located at Sukhumvit 38, next to the BTS Thong Lor Station.
