Singapore's Laguna National Golf Resort Club will soon be buzzing with some of the biggest names in the golfing world - as well as a number of very exciting sports cars - when it plays host to the 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic at the end of the month.
The event, which marks the second edition of the DP World Tour's Porsche Singapore Classic, promises to marry world-class golf with an immersive Porsche brand experience across a four-day stretch from 20 to 23 March.
The 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic will bring together greats from the golfing world, including Paul Casey (left/above) and Robert MacIntyre (right/below)
Slated to set foot on the greens are 15-time DP World Tour winner and former world No. 3 player, Paul Casey; America's major champion Jimmy Walker; and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre, who was a two-time US PGA Tour winner in 2024.
Joining them as well are other DP World Tour over the past two years from Germany, China, Japan and Italy, as well as Ryder Cup stars and other world-class Asian golfers including Malaysia's Gavin Green, China's Wenyi Ding, and the runner up for last year's tournament, Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who competed for Thailand. They will be joined by a young homegrown talent: 17-year old Brayden Lee.
The players will want to bring their best to the four rounds of the tournament, for an exhilarating prize awaits the first player to hit an ace on the 17th hole: A Porsche Taycan Turbo S, finished in Oak Green Metallic. The chance to net this particular unit of the electric super-sedan will be extended not just to the pros, but also Pro-am participants, who will be challenged to a dream shot on the course's over 160-metre hole and its water hazard.
Porsche, naturally, is taking the chance to stun guests with an immersive brand experience over the tournament's four days.
International visitors - comprising Porsche Golf Circle Community members from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Great Britain and Germany - have been promised an exclusive VIP programme of side events. These include access to the tournament's Porsche Villas (said to evoke a similar atmosphere to those in motorsports events), and enjoy a round of golf on Wednesday's (19 March 2025) Pro-am before the Porsche Singapore Classic officially kicks off.
These VIP guests will also get to test drive a variety of Porsche models on the roads around the golf course across the tournament week.
All visitors to the Porsche Singapore Classic will also get to enjoy a variety of activities, refreshments, and live music (in the evening) in the Spectator Village. Apart from a number of golf-themed games, the Village will also house a Porsche Zone where fans can design posters of their dream 911, and race virtually over the final hole of the Classic Course.
Additionally, Porsche is taking the chance to cross-pollinate the worlds of endurance racing and golfing, with two-time World Endurance champion and Le Mans winner, Timo Bernhard, set to star as a special guest. Bernhard is slated to enjoy an 'exchange programme' of sorts with Paul Casey; he will gain his first experiences with a golf club alongside Casey one day before the tournament, while Casey will be personally coached by him on the driving simulator.
As revealed earlier last month by Porsche Singapore, the 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic will be served by a 20-unit courtesy car fleet from Porsche, comprising a mixture of Taycans and Cayennes. These will be made available to potential buyers at preferential rates following the event.
Tickets for the Porsche Singapore Classic, which will begin officially on 20 March at 7:30am, are available via the DP World Tour website.
