Production of Cupra Terramar starts at Audi Gyor plant

Curpa has begun production of the Terramar at the Audi factory in Gyor, Hungary.
Both firms are said to have collaborated since 2011 with the production of nearly 80,000 examples of the Audi Q3, on top of close to 400,000 units of the Audi A1, at the Seat factory in Martorell.
This new move, however, will be the first that sees an Audi plant producing a vehicle of a sister brand. Audi's Gyor site is said to be the largest engine plant in the world, with over 12,000 employees, a yearly production volume of over 170,000 vehicles, and more than 1,600,000 engines.
The Cupra Terramar is offered internationally with petrol, mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid drivetrains and is available in nine exterior colours including two matt options, Century Bronze Matt and Enceladus Grey Matt, which have been specifically introduced at the Gyor plant.
