Qashqai most popular crossover in Singapore

According to data released by the Motor Traders Association of Singapore, the Nissan Qashqai has outperformed sales of other vehicles in its segment from January to April 2009.

"The Nissan Qashqai blends the outstanding dynamics and stability of an SUV with the driveability and agility of a hatchback, so it comes as no surprise to us that it is the best-selling crossover in Singapore. Since its launch last year, it has been extremely well-received," said Mr Ron Lim, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Tan Chong Motor.

Singaporeans are not alone in their love for the award-winning Nissan Qashqai. Sales of the Nissan Qashqai hit 100,000 in just nine months after its debut in Europe.

It won "The SUV Award 2008" by BBC TopGear Magazine (Middle East), and was awarded one of the safest cars in Europe by European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP), scoring maximum points in the front and side impact categories.
