Red Dot Design award goes to Qoros 3 Hatch

After its world premiere at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Qoros 3 Hatch, the second production model from the new international car brand has been bestowed with an 'Honourable Mention' accolade by the Red Dot jury, which recognised the 'striking and particularly successful detail solutions' of the hatchback model.

The Qoros 3 Hatch was developed by an international team of experienced motor industry experts as well as new young talent. Based on the same advanced modular platform as the Qoros 3 Sedan, it achieves the same high standards of design, engineering, production and safety that meet the most stringent international requirements, and features identical state-of-the-art technology which is not usually available in cars in the compact segment.

For the team led by Executive Director of Design, Gert Volker Hildebrand, this marks the second significant accolade this year. In early March the carmaker's debut model, the Qoros 3 Sedan, received the Universal Design Award 2014 for outstanding product quality.
