Renault continues electric vehicle momentum with two new electric LCVs

Renault Pro+ has premiered two new electric Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) - the Master Z.E. and the new Kangoo Z.E. The company has also expanded its range of connected services for commercial customers, as well as its specialist network. The company's electric LCVs range now consists of the Twizy Cargo, the new Kangoo Z.E. and the Master Z.E.

The new Kangoo Z.E. now has a 270km range (NEDC), which is a 50 percent increase from its predecessor's and further than any other electric LCV. The new van now allows for faster charging times with a new 7kW 32A charger, with a full charge only taking six hours. It also boasts a new Z.E.33 (33kWh) battery, a new R60 (44kW) motor and is the first electric LCV to be equipped with a heat pump, allowing it to maintain autonomy in cold weather. The new Renault Kangoo Z.E. will go on sale in Europe from mid-2017.

The Renault Master Z.E. has been created to primarily satisfy last-mile urban distribution and municipal needs, and brings the expertise of Renault - a European leader in electric vehicles - to the large van segment. It is equipped with a Z.E.33 (33kWh) battery, mated to a R75 (57kW) motor, which enables a range of 200km (NEDC).  A full charge from a 7kW Wall Box takes only six hours. The Master Z.E. will be available in four versions, with choices between three lengths and two heights. The Renault Master Z.E. will arrive in Europe at the end of 2017.
