Renault's new race car will be called R.S. 01

Just over a month ago, the lines of Renault's future race car were unveiled. And now, Renault has announced the car's name - Renaultsport R.S. 01.

The car will reportedly feature a 500bhp-plus Nismo-sourced powerplant and a seven-speed sequential transmission.

The next important date is 27^th August at the Moscow Motor Show, when the car will be officially unwrapped.

Renault will also unveil full details about this spectacular new race car then, which is set to become the next star in the World Series by Renault Championship.
