Unveiled last month, the Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric ships as standard from the Evolution level trim with a seven-inch digital cluster, 10-inch central screen with smartphone replication and a connected multimedia system, cruise control, automatic emergency braking system, lane keeping assist, advanced driver monitoring, automatic parking brake, individually sliding rear seats, height-adjustable driver's seat, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, and a mode 3 charging cable.
As for the Techno trim, this top-spec version ships as standard with a range of upmarket equipment, including OpenR Link with Google built-in multimedia system, Reno avatar, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, automatic air-conditioning, one-pedal driving, a folding backrest on the front passenger seat, and a digital rear view camera.
Four bodywork colours will be available initially, with two more set to join the range in Q2 2026 when orders for the Evolution trim open
Exterior-wise, its iconic design is instantly recognisable, symbolised by its playful, curvy and expressive lines, cheery face, and mischievous gaze. Four paintjobs are available: Absolute Red, Absolute Green, Mango Yellow, and Starry Black. In addition, when orders open for the Evolution trim, two more colours - Glacier White and Schist Grey - will be added to the range.
Customers can showcase their Renault Twingo E-Tech electric with optional 18-inch wheels (16-inch wheels as standard), available with both the Evolution and Techno trims.
It is exceptionally spacious and modular at just 3,790mm long, with five doors, two independent sliding rear seats as standard on all versions, and a folding backrest on the front passenger seat, among others. Interior space is optimised to meet every need, such as up to 360 litres of boot space, with a level of versatility never before achieved in this segment.
Built for silent driving with zero exhaust emissions and cutting-edge technology, the Twingo E-Tech electric ships with driving aids usually only found further up the market. Its battery, which offers up to 263km of WLTP range, works with a 60kW electric motor. With the Advanced Charge pack, 50kW DC charging is also available, which charges the model from 10-80% in just 30 minutes. Otherwise, a standard 6.6kW AC charger takes its battery from 10-100% in just four hours and 15 minutes.
Customers with the Twingo R Pass (only available in certain European countries) will get early access to order the Techno trim of the Twingo E-Tech Electric before it is officially available to the general public from 8 January 2026. Renault has also stated that orders for the Evolution trim will open in Q2 2026.
