Right lane of Parliament Place to be closed this Friday

The extreme right lane of Parliament Place, between North Bridge Road and St Andrew's Road, will be closed this Friday for the opening of the second session of the 12th Parliament sitting - from 5:00pm to 11:00pm - reported The Straits Times.
Only authorised vehicles displaying approved labels, in addition to police and emergency vehicles, can access the lane during this period.
The carpark at Parliament House will also be closed while police officers will be deployed at affected road junctions to assist and direct motorists. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed away.
The police have reported that traffic delays are to be expected along Hill Street, High Street, North Bridge Road and Parliament Place and have advised motorists to plan their route early.
