Road closures ahead for Formula One weekend

The LTA has announced that selected roads around downtown will be closed for the approaching Formula One race weekend.
The closures will begin from 28 September 2022 and will last until 4 October 2022, at 5:30am. Affected roads include St. Andrews Road, Esplanade Drive, Bayfront Avenue, Connaught Drive, Raffles Avenue, Raffles Boulevard, and Republic Boulevard.
However, sections of Bayfront Avenue, Esplanade Drive, St. Andrews Road and Raffles Boulevard will be reopened from 28 September to 30 September or 3 October during peak traffic hours (You can refer to the images above for the exact timings, or refer to the road access and public transportation guide on OneMotoring here).
The LTA advises all headed downtown or to the races to take public transport. MRT train services will be available at City Hall MRT station till 12:30am on 30 September and 1 October 2022, and till 12:45am on 2 October 2022. Selected feeder bus services will also be extended during race days.
However, for those intent on driving dow, traffic wardens will be deployed on site on race days to direct traffic and provide public assistance. Directional signs will also be put up in the vicinity to direct motorists, while the car parks at Suntec City, Millenia Walk, and Marina Square will remain open to public.
