Rolls-Royce has announced that Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer will be relinquishing his role as Director of Sales and Brand at the firm, to be replaced by Julian Jenkins.
Wilhelmsmeyer came to Rolls-Royce's global headquarters at Goodwood in 2018, having previously been the marque's Regional Director for the Greater China region. He is said to have led the product development as well as the sales and marketing campaigns for model launches including the Cullinan, Ghost, Phantom Series II, and the Spectre, while also contributing a central role to ensuring the coachbuilding would become a permanent fixture within the Rolls-Royce portfolio.
Wilhelmsmeyer will take up a new senior position within the BMW Group, where he'll play a leading role shaping the brand's future high-end luxury cars.
Julian Jenkins, meanwhile, has served a total of six years at Goodwood, prior to which he was the former President of Aston Martin Lagonda in the Americas and holder of senior roles at Bentley in North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Jenkins' international experience, product expertise and deep knowledge of the luxury sector are said to place him in good stead to take Rolls-Royce forward to its all-electric future.
