13 Oct 2025|77 views
Over the first nine months of 2025, Porsche has announced that worldwide sales of its EVs sold has significantly increased. During this time period, a total of 212,509 cars were delivered, of which 35.2% were electrified (23.1% EVs, 12.1% PHEVs).
North America remains the marque's largest sales region, with 64,446 deliveries (5% increase as compared to 2024). In Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche experienced a 4% decrease, while in its home country, it saw a 16% decrease. Porsche attributes this to catch-up effects from 2023 and limited model availability in its 718 and Macan ICE models due to the EU's cybersecurity regulations.
Porsche also recorded 32,195 deliveries in China, a decline of 26% as compared to the previous year. The marque attributes this to the challenging market conditions and the intense competition in the Chinese market with homegrown brands.
With that being said, Porsche reiterates its commitment to responding to the diverse needs of customers worldwide and it also expects the future market environment to remain challenging. However, the marque has said that it will still remain committed to its "value over volume" strategy.
