Singaporean Military G-Wagen to debut at Newport

U.K.-based vehicle restoration firm Arcade Cars has announced that it will soon unveil a Mercedes-Benz 240GD at the Audrain Concours in October. The convertible is described as one of only 60 to 70 airdrop-ready military vehicles ever produced by Mercedes-Benz for the Singaporean Army and has made its way into the hands of Arcade Cars after having been exhibited and at this year's Monterey Car Week (wherein it apparently generated a fair deal of buyer interest).

Arcade Cars states that only 10 bespoke examples will be built, all in collaboration with individual clients, making these cars amongst some of the most exclusive G-Wagens. The firm additionally adds that each vehicle will retain its miliary features, which should be quite a yummy touch for the collector such as yourself.

The firm is set to formally debut the special Pacific Blue open-top Mercedes-Benz 240GD alongside an Arcade Racing Green Mercedes-Benz Puch 230GE at the event.
