SK Garage racers finish third in final round of Malaysia Championship Series

Local racers Jonathan Xie and Roy Tang secured third place for the final round of Malaysia Championship Series. Represented by SK Garage, the duo are the only Singapore team that took part in the 300km endurance race, held at the Sepang International Circuit last month.
Finishing the 51 lap race in 2:29:38.020, it was an intense race with competitors like Mark Darwin and Boy Wong, who were crowned overall first and second place respectively for the season.
SK Garage has been active in the motorsport scene this year. Jonathan commented that the strategic race planning by his team led to progressive results. He also commended the sponsors and supporters, who are the team's pillars of support.

Moving on from the final round of MCS, SK Garage are preparing for the Sepang 1,000km endurance race, which will take place on 21 to 25 November. The Sepang 1,000km is an extended version of the M-Production Car (MTC) and S-Production (SP2) categories from Malaysia Championship Series as it adopts the similar technical regulations.
The competition is opened to cars between 1,401cc and 1,600cc with each team being allowed to use between two to four drivers in completing 181 laps of the 5.543km race track. Supporters can catch all of the action of the race live through Sepang International Circuit's official Facebook page here.
