SK Garage and the Skuber Racing Team have clinched the first place in the overall championship at the Malaysian Championship Series 2023.
The championship took a new 300km format this year, and the team returned with their sights on victory after having clinched third in the overall championship leaderboard in 2022.
This year's race proved to be a challenging season, with Jonathan Xie in car No.17 in second place of the leaderboard before the start of the final Round 4 of the race. However, the determination and work done by the racing team saw them eventually succeeding the first position overall championship in the TP class with just a two-point margin, making the Skuber Racing Team the first Singaporean team to win the overall championship in the history of Malaysia Championship Series in more than 10 years.
Javcob Lim in car No.95, meanwhile, achieved a second place in the SP1 class while Hu Jian Le in car No.117 achieved a third place in the SP2 V class in Round 3, their best results to date.
New and aspiring racers are invited to join the Skuber Racing Team by contacting them via Instagram or Facebook @teamskgarage or @skuberraceteam. SK Garage is currently the distributor for Motul engine oil in Singapore for both workshops and end users, and welcomes any enquiry.
