Like its predecessors, the all-new Skoda Superb SportLine features a generous equipment list and unique design features such as gloss black detailing on the front grille surround, window frames, and door mirrors. Both bumpers - unique to the SportLine - feature gloss black inserts, with the estate version adding black roof rails to the design package.
Additional features extending its sporty appeal are 19-inch Torcular polished black alloy wheels, bespoke SportLine badging on the front wings, and black Skoda lettering on the tailgate.
Inside, a unique SportLine Design Selection comes as standard, with its new front sport seats heralded by the brand as the most advanced to be offered in a Superb SportLine model, offering an integrated headrest, electric controls, manually adjustable seat length, as well as heating and massage function as standard for both front seats. It also sports black headlining, a three-spoke leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and aluminium pedal covers. Fully adjustable ambient lighting is also included as standard.
The new SportLine model will be offered with six different engine and transmission options. The petrol lineup consists of a 1.5 TSI unit offering 148bhp and a 2.0 TSI unit offering two output options: 201bhp and 261bhp. Diesel customers can opt for a 2.0 TDI engine with outputs of 148bhp and 190bhp. Both lineups will feature a seven-speed DSG gearbox as standard, with the higher output variant offering 4x4 AWD.
The SportLine model is also available with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain combining a 1.5 TSI petrol engine with a 110kW (148bhp) electric motor and a six-speed DSG gearbox. In addition, the Superb SportLine iV is powered by a 25.7kWh battery located at the rear of the estate version and has a WLTP all-electric driving range of 127km.
