Skoda reveals new sketches of the refreshed Octavia

Just days after revealing the first teasers of the new refreshed Octavia (read our review of the current Octavia here), Skoda Auto has now published a few additional exterior sketches of the car.
As previously announced, the revealed sketches show the car sporting a new head light design. These have been reshaped to give the car a sportier appearance and will be available as second generation LED Matrix beam items for the refreshed models. The car's head lights are also said to now incorporate Crystallinium, which is described by Skoda as "a unique crystalline element" that gives the head light housing a distinctive blue hue.
Skoda has further added alongside these revealed sketches that the car is also set to get an updated grille alongside new bumpers.
The refreshed Skoda Octavia will be available as both a fastback sedan and as an estate, and the model will continue to get its Sportline and RS versions. More than seven million examples of the Skoda Octavia have been delivered to customers since the first modern generation was launched in 1996. The refreshed Skoda Octavia is set to make its digital global premiere come 14 February 2024.
