Subaru Trezia unveiled at Geneva

The only changes to the Trezia to differentiate it from the Verso S are the Subaru grille and badge, redesigned bumpers and new headlights. Otherwise, the Subaru Trezia, Subaru's contender for the mini MPV segment, is virtually identical to the Toyota Verso S

Subaru says that the Trezia has 429 litres of boot space, which can be increased further by folding down the 60/40 split rear bench. With all five seats in place, Subaru claims that the Trezia can accommodate five passengers plus "three large suitcases".

The Trezia comes with two engine options, both taken from Toyota. The first is a 1.3-litre naturally-aspirated petrol that is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and produces 99bhp, while the other is a 1.4-litre turbo diesel with 90bhp, and comes with either a standard six-speed manual gearbox, or Toyota's six-speed multi-mode automated manual gearbox (M-MT) which has the clutch operated by an electric motor fitted to the transmission. In manual mode, the driver can change gears from paddle shifters.
