Suzuki now has a new home here in Singapore.
Suzuki's new showroom, located at 7 Chang Charn Road, is opening just in time for the golden jubilee celebration of Champion Motors Singapore. The new space is said to span a total of 1,200sqm, and houses both sales and aftermarket services under one roof for a seamless customer experience.
For existing Suzuki owners, this means you can now get your cars at two different locations (the other being Inchcape centre at Pandan Road). There's even a nifty viewing window at the new space, so you can see your car getting serviced.
And those thinking of getting a new Suzuki also have things to look forward to: The new space now hosts a customer lounge, pantry area, and a dedicated car delivery suite. And it's also said to be capable of holding up to nine vehicles as well, so even those planning on a future purchase can expect to be able to get up close with more vehicles than was possible at the firm's former location. Champion Motors Singapore also adds that customers will be able to enjoy personalised consultations as they browse these models.
But why bother holding back your visit? Champion Motors Singapore is set to house a family day out come 30 and 31 August 2025, and those visiting will be treated to a guided tour of the new showroom and will be able to play a host of interactive games, savour food from various stations, and even walk away with special merchandise.
Also available to view at the opening of the showroom is the upcoming 5-door variant of the Suzuki Jimny
But if all these are not enough to convince you to head down, there's also a new 5-door variant of the Suzuki Jimny now available to view at the new space. First previewed at the 2024 Singapore Motorshow, the new variant combines the loveable boxy shape of Jimnys past with the added convenience of doors for your rear passengers and gets its wheelbase extended by 340mm for increased cabin space, so bringing friends and the kiddos along for an adventure is now easier than ever! And you won't have to wait long if you're already thinking about purchasing one yourself: The car is set to launch here by the third quarter of 2025.
And while you're there, also look out for Champion Motors Singapore's new corporate logo and brand. Refreshed for the firm's 50th anniversary, the new items are said to reinvigorate the firm's identity and bring it closer in alignment to its parent company Inchcape.
Finally, fans of the Suzuki brand can look forward to seeing more cars from the marque on the road. Champion Motors Singapore has just penned down a new partnership with GetGo - so expect more Suzuki vehicles plying our roads soon. For users of the platform, Sgcarmart understands that users of the GetGo car sharing platform and customers of the ZipZap car leasing firm will soon be able to get behind the wheel of some Suzuki Swifts equipped with mild hybrid technology.
Champion Motors and GetGo also signed a memorandum of understanding at the event that will see the car sharing platform utilising Suzuki vehicles
And there's more in store still - Champion Motors Singapore informs us that it already has some exciting plans in store come 2026. Besides a range of activities hosted within this new showroom in the upcoming months, new models are also on the near and distant horizon. We're told that the brand's first all-electric offering, the e-Vitara, is expected to be officially introduced in Singapore in early 2026 (potentially at the upcoming Motor Show).
Stay tuned here and we'll fetch you the latest updates when we get them!
