Porsche has revealed a new Taycan GTS.
Positioned above the Taycan 4S but below the Taycan Turbo, the Taycan GTS will sit within the Taycan lineup as a sporty all-rounder of the model range.
The new Taycan GTS delivers an impressive 590bhp on overboost when using Launch Control, allowing the sprint from zero to 100km/h to be achieved in just 3.7 seconds. And a WLTP range of 504km makes the GTS the first Taycan to break the 500km mark.
Also new with the Taycan GTS is the fact that it is available as a Sport Turismo model.
The Taycan Sport Turismo delivers the same level of everyday practicality as offered by the Taycan Cross Turismo, with 45mm more headroom in the rear and 1,200 litres more load capacity under its tailgate compared to the sports saloon. However, it goes without the off-road design elements of the Cross Turismo models.
Handling for the Taycan GTS is assured with air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management, specifically adapted to the GTS. The model will also get a sportier setup for its rear-axle steering, and a richer sound pattern out of the modified Porsche Electric Sport Sound system.
Black or dark details on the exterior, such as the front apron, the bases of the exterior mirrors and the side window trims, as is traditional of GTS models, set the new Taycan apart on the outside.
Numerous Black Race-Tex features in the interior meanwhile, underscore the cabin's elegant, dynamic ambience, as does the standard brushed aluminium interior package with a Black anodised finish.
A new panoramic roof with Sunshine Control is also available as a new optional extra for the Taycan GTS. The new roof utilises an electrically switchable liquid crystal film to change the roof from clear to matt, protecting occupants from glare, without darkening the interior.
The Taycan GTS starts from $579,958 and is now available to order at Porsche Centre Singapore.
