In the spirit of the upcoming annual Singapore Grand Prix, The LEGO Group has brought its Experience the Thrill pop-up event to ION Orchard, uniting LEGO enthusiasts and Formula One fans alike for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Besides the Formula One-themed activities and the offerings on show, the life-sized LEGO Williams Racing FW46 F1 race car has also made its Asia Pacific debut at the event. Built with over 400,000 LEGO bricks and measuring 5,500mm long and 2,100mm wide, this is the same car that was driven by the Atlassian Williams Racing Team drivers at the Miami Grand Prix Drivers' Parade in May 2025.

As for the activities on hand, visitors will be tasked to complete four interactive stations at the pop-up in order to win a prize*. Participants must be a minimum of four years of age to participate.
The first station, called the Photo Op, will require participants to take a picture with the life-sized LEGO Williams Racing FW46 F1 race car and post it on their socials with the relevant tags.
A more realistic Singaporean iteration of this track would be the inclusion of ERP gantries and speed cameras
The second station, titled The LEGO Circuit, sees participants building their own race car from the many LEGO bricks on hand and sending it down the track. Once the car crosses the finish line, participants will receive a punch hole on their mission card.
The third station, Rapid Repairs, requires participants to build their LEGO F1 Speed Champion race cars within 60 seconds, mimicking the time crunch pit crews face on race days. Once assembled, participants will receive another punch hole on their mission card.
The fourth and final station is Pedal Power, which requires a bit more physical exertion and quick feet. Four pads will be laid out in front of the VR Camera, and participants will have to tap the correct pads in order to make their car go faster on screen. Seasoned Tap Tap Revolution players should have little trouble with this challenge. And similar to the previous two challenges, participants will get another punch hole on their mission card upon completion.
Once all that is done, participants can head over to the redemption booth to redeem their prize*. This is limited to one redemption per person. Children between the ages of four to 12 will receive a mini LEGO Race Car, while adults will receive a $5 LEGO voucher.
The LEGO "Pit Shop" is offering event exclusive promotions and redemptions prizes for various ranges of minimum spendings
In addition, LEGO will also be offering event exclusive promotions for its "Pit Shop" shoppers who spend various amounts at the brand's pop-up shop, with prizes such as a Singapore-exclusive LEGO Red Car and a LEGO Acrylic Display Box up for grabs.
Looking to get into the spirit of Formula One, or just a humble LEGO collector? If so, this pop-up is one you really shouldn't miss! The LEGO Experience the Thrill pop-up event will run from 25 September to 12 October 2025, from 11:00am to 09:00pm, at ION Orchard, Level 1 Outdoor ION.
