The new Kia Stinger is the IIHS's Top Safety Pick

The 2022 Kia Stinger has been awarded the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety's (IIHS) Top Safety Pick Plus rating. With the implementation LED head lights as standard, the refreshed 2022 Stinger earned ratings of 'good' in all six of the IIHS's crashworthiness evaluation criteria.
The Stinger's stellar performance in the IIHS's safety tests was achieved on top of its existing five-star Euro NCAP rating.
Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, which comes as standard, earned Kia's sports sedan a superior ratings in the vehicle-to-vehicle evaluation and vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluation.
The new model year also introduces numerous driver assistance systems which are now standard across all Stinger variants, including Lane Keep Assist, Lane Follow Assist, and Driver Attention Warning.
