Maka Technologies believes the Marbella MX5 (above) and MX PRO HD DVR (Digital Video Recorder) will allow the firm to stay ahead of the competition on top of meeting market demand. Both the cameras were formally launched by Maka Technologies Group CEO, Ronny Prananto, at the PC Show that was held in Singapore Expo, earlier this month.
The MX5 is equipped with a 1.0 megapixel CMOS sensor which records video at a resolution of 1080px x 720px at 30 frames per seconds (fps). Meanwhile, the MX PRO is equipped with a 5.0 megapixel CMOS unit to ensure crisp video quality at a Full HD resolution of 1920px x 1080px at 30/60fps - a key factor to capture the surrounding environment including license plates.
Additionally the MX PRO has an optional GPS dongle for users who wish to record speed, location and a more precise impact measurement. In addition, the Marbella MX 5 and MX PRO DVR feature a 160-degree viewing angle for a wider perspective when viewed on the sleek and compact 2.7-inch Wide TFT Screen.
The high compression technology from Ambarella - in the MX5 and MX PRO allows for more video data to be stored in the Micro SD card.
