Upper Serangoon Road to close four hours on Saturday morning for construction

A stretch of Upper Serangoon Road will be closed to traffic early Saturday morning (30^th September), said the Housing and Development Board (HDB) on Monday (25^th September). The closure is to facilitate the launching of concrete beam for the construction of a pedestrian overhead bridge.

The 300m stretch of road between Upper Serangoon Crescent and Buangkok Drive will be closed to traffic in both directions between 1:00am and 5:00am on that day. The HDB advised motorists travelling between Sengkang East Drive and Upper Serangoon Road in both directions to use Buangkok Drive and Hougang Avenues 8 and 10 instead. Blinking lights, barricade and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists.
